Govt. of Punjab started using satellite internet in schools last Friday to help more kids get online. The first tryout was kicked off by Punjab’s leader, Maryam Nawaz, at DPS Model Town.
While signing the MoU, a group from the UAE, led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum, joined. Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz talked with students at the DPS Digital Lab, showing how much the government cares about making learning better with technology.
The MoU is about giving satellite internet to lots of schools in Punjab so that everyone can use the internet. This teamwork shows how we’re working together to make things better with technology.
When they talked, the UAE group said that satellite internet is really important for helping more people get online, especially in faraway places.
Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum said he’s very happy about how this project can help young people and make new inventions with technology. When One Web, ADM Holding, and the Punjab government work together, it shows that everyone wants to make Punjab’s digital dreams come true.
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz said Punjab will become really good with technology, promising to give students laptops and internet from satellites. Senator Pervez Rasheed and Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb were there too.
