The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has shared exciting news for students! They’ve revealed a special six-week Summer Internship Program, starting from June 24 to August 02, 2024, right at SBP Karachi.
Students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) who have a proper ID card, NICOP, or a Pakistani passport are welcome to join the Summer Internship Program, as mentioned by the SBP.
Eligibility Criteria:
- To be eligible, students should have completed at least two years of a four-year Bachelor’s degree program or be currently studying in a Master’s program.
- Students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir who have a proper NIC (National Identity Card), NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis), or a Pakistani passport are welcome to join the Summer Internship Program, as mentioned by the SBP.
- To be accepted, students should have at least 70% marks in systems that use percentages, or a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 CGPA in systems that use GPAs.
- You need to meet these requirements when you apply for the program. If you’ve already graduated or are waiting for results, you can’t join the program.
Application Procedure:
- If your application is missing important information, it won’t be considered for the next steps. Make sure to complete all the required details!
- We won’t accept applications delivered in person, sent by mail, or emailed. Please use the specified method to apply.
- If you face any problems when sending your application , you can email SBP for help at: TechsupportInternship@sbp.org.pk.
Application Deadline.
- You need to send in your application online before February 15, 2024.
Selection:
- If you make it to the next step, we’ll talk to you by March 15, 2024. Then, we’ll need you to send us copies of your recent grades, your ID card or passport, and a photo.
- If you try to make things unfair during the choosing part, you won’t be able to join the internship. It’s important to play fair!
- SBP will pick the students for the internship, and the lucky ones will get an email saying they got in. The email will also tell them how everything will work during the internship.
- If anyone gives the wrong information, they won’t be able to join the internship. Always remember, telling the truth is super important
- The internship will happen only at SBP in Karachi. But, the students who are chosen won’t get money for their travel to and from Karachi, and they won’t get a place to stay during the internship.
