Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the Punjab government will spend more than Rs 125 billion every year to pay for the education of 25,000 students.
In a meeting with the Education Department, she told the officials to give prizes to the best students in all education boards in Punjab and also to the teachers who helped these students succeed.

CM Maryam gave the green light for the Student Scholarship Program and the Laptop Scheme for students, instructing the officials to begin these projects. She mentioned that the Punjab government will spend over Rs 125 billion each year to support the education of 25,000 students.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif instructed the launch of a transport program for female students, where buses will be provided to 60 girls’ colleges in Punjab during the first phase.She also told the officials to quickly set up IT hubs in all districts of Punjab.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Principal Secretary to CM Sajid Zafar Dal, and Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Farrukh Naveed were also present at the meeting.
