The temporary government in the province decided not to shut schools tomorrow, even though they said earlier that schools would be open on the weekend.
The Punjab School Education Department sent a notice saying all schools will be open all week, from Monday to Saturday.
But now, the temporary leader changed the decision and said all schools in Punjab will be closed tomorrow. They talked about it in a meeting led by the temporary CM, Mohsin Naqvi, in a group called the Cabinet Committee on Anti-Smog.
They also said that shops and restaurants can stay open. Because the air quality got a lot better, the government decided to lift some rules.
Before, the government said when the schools in Punjab will have their winter break. Mohsin Naqvi said the holidays will start from December 18 to January 1.
And in Sindh, they also said when their winter holidays will be. They’ll start from December 22 and go until December 31.
