Islamabad: Madad Ali Sindhi, the Caretaker Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training , has asked the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) to speed up the creation of plans and the progress of current projects.
He gave these instructions during a meeting in Islamabad, where the Director-General of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and senior representatives from Higher Education Commission (HEC) were present, along with senior officials from the ministry. The HEC representatives briefed the minister about the Private Members Bill called ‘The Smart Institute of Science and Technology (Amendment) Bill 2023.
The HEC has been thinking about creating a plan for the teachers in universities, including a policy for promotions, they said. The minister was informed about providing training to the teachers of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE)
