The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that because of rain, the matriculation exams in Chitral from Thursday to Saturday are canceled.
Today, Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai led a meeting in Peshawar where they decided to cancel the exams in Chitral because of the rain. They also agreed to set new dates for these exams later on.
It’s good to know that the exams in other areas will happen as planned. The Education Minister told all the boards to quickly get the exam staff ready and make sure everything, like security, is all set.
He also said that anyone caught leaking exam papers will be in trouble.
Because of the heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) , the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) says that 21 people have sadly died in different accidents in the province.
The PDMA says that because of the recent a lot of rain., roofs and walls collapsed in 330 places, wrecking 53 houses and harming 277 other buildings. Also, 32 people got hurt in different accidents in the province.
