The Senate Committee on Education said yes to a new rule that lets students make groups in schools.
The committee that looks after schools had a meeting led by Ifran Siddiqui. But the big bosses in education didn’t come, and that made the committee leader upset.
Irfan Siddiqui told the big bosses they have to come to the next meetings. He said it’s super important for them to be there when deciding about student groups.
He also told everyone in the meeting about how student groups used to help kids learn about politics in the old days.
Senator Bahramand Khan Tangi said this rule is to keep kids safe from being bullied or pressured into doing things they don’t want to.
Senator Siddiqui said that stopping student groups made other groups in schools, which might not be safe.
